The principle of operation of the pump

Series TOP multi, centrifugal type with open impeller, designed for operation in automatic mode. The impeller, oscillating on the drive shaft, consists of a rear disk and blades. Through the suction grate, the liquid enters the rotating blade channel; here the fluid acquires a radial movement from the center to the periphery, during which it acquires energy both in the form of pressure and in the form of an increase in flow velocity. At the outlet of the impeller, the liquid rushes into a spiral, after converting part of the kinetic energy into pressure energy, it leaves the pump through a vertically mounted supply pipe provided in the discharge housing.

Scope and installation

Pedrollo TOP Multi pumps are recommended for pumping clean water or liquids with a sand content of up to 50 g/cu. With high efficiency and reliability, these pumps are suitable for water supply from baths, tanks or deep wells, for pumping rainwater from reservoirs, for manual watering or for feeding an irrigation system.
