Principle of operation
The TOP series includes submersible drainage electric pumps, centrifugal type with an open impeller, designed to operate in automatic mode. The impeller, oscillating on the drive shaft, consists of a rear disc and blades. Through the suction grate, the liquid enters the rotating blade channel; here the fluid acquires a radial movement from the center to the periphery, during which it acquires energy both in the form of pressure and in the form of an increase in flow velocity. At the outlet of the impeller, the liquid rushes into a spiral, after converting part of the kinetic energy into pressure energy, it leaves the pump through a vertically mounted supply pipe provided in the discharge casing. Proper engine cooling is provided by the pumped liquid.
Scope and installation
TOR series pumps are recommended for lifting clean water without abrasive particles. The design solutions used ensure ease of operation and safety even in continuous operation (eg in fountains), thanks to the complete cooling of the engine, which is provided with a good power reserve and a double mechanical seal. Easy dismantling of the motor and pump makes maintenance and repair simple and convenient. These pumps are especially suitable for dehumidification of flooded rooms of small volume, in emergency situations, such as (rooms, cellars, boxes), for emptying swimming pools, bathtubs and aquariums, for the treatment of domestic wastewater, (washing machines and dishwashers), for supplying water to garden fountains, for irrigating small gardens and orchards and "storage tanks, for draining small sewage pits.
Structural characteristics
- Pressure pump made of technopolymer, with fiberglass reinforcing insert, particularly resistant. - External float (with built-in switch) for automatic start and stop of the pump.
- Drive shaft in AISI 416 stainless steel.
- Double carbon/aluminum mechanical seal on the pump side and O-ring on the motor side (with an oil shut-off chamber placed between them to lubricate and cool the seal surface in the absence of water).
- Motor: inductive, closed type, suitable for continuous operation, with built-in thermal protection device (emergency switch). Insulation class F (allows you to withstand significant loads and increases its durability).
- Degree of protection IP 68.
- Submersible power cable, neoprene "H05-RN-F". Standard equipment 5 m with SCHUKO plug (on request 10 m).
- Execution and safety regulations in accordance with EN60 335-1 (IEC 335-1, CEI 61-50) IEC 34 standards.
- The characteristics of the curves in the table have tolerances according to ISO 2548.
