Membrane tank Zilmet CAL-PRO 500 with a volume of 500 l for heating systems

Membrane expansion tanks of the Zilmet Cal-Pro series for heating systems are designed to create closed heating systems of various sizes in cottages, residential buildings with an individual heating system and other structures.

The main parts of the Zilmet Cal-Pro tanks are a metal body and a synthetic rubber membrane that separates the body into two parts. On one side of the membrane, air is pumped under pressure, which is compressed when the water in the system expands; on the other side of the membrane, water enters the cavity between the membrane and the housing during expansion.

Description of Zilmet Cal-Pro membrane tank:  

• Designed to compensate for volumetric changes in the coolant that occur as a result of its heating or cooling.
• Vertical execution.
• Zilmet Cal-Pro tank body in carbon steel.
• Fixed diaphragm in SBR synthetic rubber (only for non-potable water).
• Powder coated.
• The color is red.

Working parameters of Zilmet Cal-Pro:  

• Maximum working pressure: Zilmet Cal-Pro 4, 8 - 5.0 bar; Zilmet Cal-Pro 12, 18, 24, 35, 50 - 4.0 bar; Zilmet Cal-Pro 80, 105, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 - 6.0 bar.
• Operating temperature in the system: minimum -10ºC, maximum +99ºC.
• Operating temperature in the membrane tank: minimum -10ºC, maximum +70ºC.
