Siphon tube Perkins straight (M20*1.5 - G1/2)

Application

The Perkins tube is a steel loop impulse tube designed to mount, protect the instrument and take pressure from non-aggressive liquids, gases and steam.
The Perkins tube is used to protect the control and measuring device (pressure gauge, sensor) from strong heating - overheating (by cooling the measured medium in the siphon), as well as to dampen water hammer (due to the siphon compensating loop, damping the hydraulic shock pulsations). Perkins impulse tubes (straight and angled siphon elbows) are the most economical option for protecting and connecting pressure measuring instruments on all types of pipelines.

Design version:

  • straight (for mounting on a horizontal pipeline)
  • angular (for installation on a vertical pipeline)
