Pressure reducing valve (direct acting) TLV DR20 DN25
Application area:
Pressure reducing valves are designed for use in steam systems, regulation according to the principle "after itself". It is used at low steam flow rates and not high requirements for pressure accuracy.
Setting the secondary steam pressure is done by changing the spring force. Compressing the spring opens the valve, thereby increasing the steam flow. The secondary steam pressure (pressure after the valve) that increases in this case acts on the bellows and creates a back force that closes the valve. Being in constant equilibrium, the force of the spring and the force of the secondary pressure of the steam on the bellows maintain the set steam pressure.
Among the disadvantages, it is necessary to note the less accurate maintenance of the secondary steam pressure, in contrast to pilot-operated pressure reducing valves - the COSR model.
